Greetings from the Reading Branch!
While most know Reading from the "Reading Railroad" tile in Monopoly, the ASCE Reading Branch knows that there is a storied history in the Greater Reading area. For those in Pennsylvania, you may know of the pagoda atop Mount Penn, or you might know one of our many minor league sports teams, but for those in the civil engineering community, you know about the rich history of infrastructure!
The Reading Branch was initially founded in 1975 by the Philadelphia Section, but was transferred into the Lehigh Valley Section in 2016. In the 50+ year history of the branch, a lot has changed, but one thing that remains consistent is a healthy membership! If you have any questions or concerns for the branch, please contact us at
