Pennsylvania State Council

The State Council is a group of representatives from each ASCE Section and Branch in Pennsylvania who advocate for the interests of engineers. The group most recently visited the State Capitol on May 12th, advocating for greater transportation infrastructure funding, better contracting practices, and improved signage around dams. The group serves as a key link between professionals and elected officials to better understand the infrastructure needs across the state.

From the Lehigh Valley Section, Nick Giglio and Mark Garger currently serve as the representatives. The Reading Branch has two additional members, John Caperilla, who serves as the group’s president, and Andrew Kline.
