Lane Wilder, P.E. - Past President

Lane is a Swarthmore (go Earthworms, go Warmothers!) and Lehigh (go Brown and White!) grad. She spent a decade working as a grant proposal writer and another being an at-home/PTA mom before finding her home as a structural engineer. For the past ten years, Lane has been designing building structures at D’Huy Engineering, now a CHA company, learning as much as she can from the tremendously knowledgeable folks around and above her, and offering technical guidance and pep talks to the new engineers. She has served on SEI-LV since 2016 and the LVASCE Board of Directors since 2019. Outside of engineering, Lane serves on the Board of Directors at New Bethany, and plays trumpet in the Big Easy Easton Brass. She lives together with her husband in Bethlehem. They have two grown kids and, of course, their trusty(ish) dog.
